This is a really nice idea. It's good to notice things like this, particularly sensory things that a reader can relate to - these are all things that, when applied to the Fiction space, can really bring your writing to life and add realism. Well done... 😎

I’m not sure anyone on the East Coast makes fluffy jello salad anymore; at least, I haven’t seen any in ages. Now I’m feeling nostalgic.
I can't say it's my favorite...I had to leave one recipe on my plate recently...but it's always, always an option.
I mean...I wouldn't call it even A favorite, but it IS a nostalgia food!
